# Combo presses

A combo press is one or two controller buttons held together to turn a feature on or off. Set them on the **Mapping** page under **Combo presses**. As with button mapping, connect the controller first.

| Feature    | Family      | Default                       |
| ---------- | ----------- | ----------------------------- |
| Wheel mode | Dreamcast   | D-pad Down + Start, hold 1 s  |
| Air mouse  | Dreamcast   | D-pad Right + Start, hold 1 s |
| Mouse mode | PlayStation | Create, tap                   |

For each combo you can:

* Turn it on or off with its checkbox
* Choose two buttons, or set the second to **none** to use one button
* Choose how long to hold: a tap, half a second, 1 second or 2 seconds

Wheel mode and Air mouse run on the BitLink DC Adapter, which has the motion sensor. The dongle sends these settings to the adapter.

Mouse mode turns the DualSense touchpad into a Dreamcast mouse. The light bar turns green while it is on.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://8bitmods.gitbook.io/manuals/bitlink-dc-dongle/webui/combo-presses.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
